Brown kimonos

穴吹君が ジャネット小咄 と言うセクションを ７天HP に設けたのは 既に ご承知ですか？
どうぞ その欄に 英文の小咄を 時々 載せてください。
私より 英語の出来る 教え子が何人も いますから 英語を教えるという 配慮は要りません。

 Dear Professor Yamaguchi,
Thank you for your kind message and information regarding a new "corner" for me.
At first, I didn't quite understand what you meant by a "new section". I did not realize Mr. Anabuki had created my own personal corner!! He is so very kind!
I saw a HP article in which Mr. Anabuki had created a very cute cartoon character for me that had suddenly changed clothes into a brown kimono!! But I didn't know this was also a "new corner"! Thank you very much, Prof.Yamaguchi, for introducing me into this very active homepage full of interesting characters!
At first, I thought, "Where is my corner?" I am not accustomed to Internet surfing and had been reading only the 3 topics at the top of the HP or finding other articles by linking from these 3.
So I had no idea where "my corner" was located and had to explore the HP a bit before finding it. Now, I've finally found it! What a surprise!
Also, to be honest with you, I don't know how to read,
「小咄」 ??? 色々と「漢字変換モード」で読み方を探しているのですが、まだ見つからないのです。「読み方」が分かってから、意味を調べていますので、
I'm not sure yet, but does it mean something like,
「こばなし」？
Is my character
> a 「小咄を言う人」？
Also、 「小咄を言う人」は、wears brown kimonos なのですか？
I thought that the red dress looked "younger" and "sexier" but I suppose a brown kimono is OK too and, well, 年齢を考えますと、more becoming of my age!!
(But don't you think 鉢姫's kimono is more colorful and pretty? However, I am NOT complaining! The brown kimono is fine!)

茶色の着物は、小咄を職業的に語る人、日本では咄家（はなしか）、または落語家と呼ばれる人のユニホームです。
青い布きれは、手ぬぐい。左手に持っているのは扇子で、いずれも落語家の必携品。
野球の選手における、バットとグローブのようなものです。
